Mission Statement
UTA Carpentries is a group of independent members of the University of Texas at Arlington community dedicated to providing structured pathways for our colleagues to learn computational skills outside of the traditional university curriculum. UTA Carpentries is open to any member of the UTA community including staff, faculty, and students. In addition to our core computational content, we seek to bring the Carpentries’ teaching methods to instructors and to develop a research community dedicated to open and reproducible science.
